Goods worth lakhs looted from grocery shop in Chadura
Budgam: A grocery shop in Panzan area of Central Kashmir’s Chadura town was looted in the wee hours of Monday after thieves drilled a hole into the wall from the backside of the shop.
Local sources told KNT that thieves have decamped with goods worth Rs 5 lakhs.
They said that the shop belongs to one Hilal Ahmed Dar son of Ghulam Hasan Dar, a resident of Karnir Chadura.
Locals found the shutter of the shop open during wee hours and accordingly the owner of the shop informed the police. A case in this regard has been registered and investigation taken up. (KNT)
