GM Shaheen Refutes Job Scam Allegations, Calls Sandeep Mawa’s Claims “Baseless and Politically Motivated”

Janata Dal leader GM Shaheen has strongly refuted the allegations leveled against him by Sandeep Mawa and several individuals claiming to be victims of a job scam, calling the accusations “completely fake, fabricated, and politically motivated.”
Speaking exclusively to ANN News, Shaheen said, “I have dedicated my entire life to the service of the nation and to helping people. This is how I am being repaid — by a man who has no credibility, trying to defame reputed personalities.”
He further stated, “If even a single person proves that I have taken a single penny from them, I am ready to resign from my party immediately.”
Shaheen’s remarks come in response to claims made after Sandeep Mawa’s press conference, where several people alleged that Shaheen had taken money from them in exchange for promised government jobs, particularly in the Railways and other departments.
In recent days, audio recordings have surfaced online, purportedly featuring phone conversations where individuals accuse Shaheen of accepting money under the guise of offering employment. Shaheen, however, dismissed the audios as “edited and misleading”, insisting that they are part of a targeted campaign to malign his image.
The Janata Dal leader questioned why the alleged victims did not approach him directly if the accusations were genuine. “If I had taken money from them, why didn’t they come to me? Why is Sandeep Mawa suddenly acting as their spokesperson?” Shaheen asked.
He also announced that he will be filing an FIR against Sandeep Mawa for defamation, stating that legal action is the only way to expose what he termed as “a politically orchestrated drama.”
The controversy continues to intensify as both sides exchange claims and counterclaims, while the public awaits an official investigation to determine the truth behind the alleged job scam and fake recruitment orders.
