GDC Vijaypur organises signature campaign on voting rights

SAMBA, FEBRUARY 19: In continuation to the sequel of events organized under the banner of Voter Awareness Campaign” Department of Education of Government Degree College Vijaypur and NSS Unit (KHIDMAT)   organised a signature campaign on voting rights with the aim to make the staff and students aware that the right to vote is a fundamental right in any democratic society.

It is the cornerstone of our democracy, allowing citizens to have a say in who governs them and how they are governed.

. The event was organised under the guidance of the College Dr. (Prof.) Vandana Gupta and coordinated by Prof. Ritu Bhagat (Coordinator NSS)and co-coordinated by Prof. Poonam Kundan (HOD Environmental Sciences) and Dr. Naseem Chowdhary (NSS PO). Prof. Anita Jamwal (HOD Political Sciences), Prof. Mamta Gupta (HOD Commerce), Prof. Manoj Heer (HOD Dogri), Dr.Gunjeet Mahiwal, Dr. Jan Mohd. Wani, Dr. Tisha Singh also supported the event.
