Full Dress Rehearsal For Independence Day Held At SK Stadium Srinagar

Srinagar: Full dress rehearsal for the Independence Day celebration was held today at Sher-i-Kashmir Stadium Srinagar in which Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir Shri Baseer Ahmad Khan, unfurled the national flag, inspected the parade & took salute at the march past.

DGP J&K police Shri S P Vaid-IPS, ADG armed Shri A K Choudhary-IPS, ADG L&O/Security/Home Guards Shri Munir Ahmad Khan-IPS, IG Kashmir Shri Swayam Prakash Pani-IPS, DIG CKR Shri V K Birdi-IPS, SSP Srinagar Shri Imtiaz Ismail Parray-IPS, DC Srinagar Shri Syed Abid Rashid Shah-IAS, besides senior officers of civil administration & police Department & other concerned were present on the occasion.

The march past was presented by the contingents of District Police Srinagar, Armed Police, BSF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, Women Police, Forest Protection Force, Fire & Emergency Services, NCC Cadets, Students from various Schools, etc

On the occasion, Colourful cultural programme was presented by artists & students from different educational institutions in joint collaboration of Department of information, Education Department, Cultural Academy of Art, Culture & Languages & the Youth Services & Sports Department.
