Four killed in two separate landslide incidents in Reasi
Jammu: Four persons including three members of a family were killed in two different landslide incidents in Reasi district in Jammu division.
According to reports, Khalil Ahmad, his wife Raksana Begum and their relative Mohammad Aslam were killed after a landslide in upper reaches of Khour in Mahore area on Monday night. The three had gone to the area for cattle grazing and had set up their shelter near the mouth of a natural cave.
Several of their animals were also killed in the incident.
The bodies of the deceased were handed over to their families after all legal formalities.
In another incident, Wali Mohammad was killed after landslide in Khandi Gali Dhok. He was grazing his cattle when the landslide occurred. Five buffaloes were also killed in the incident.
