Former MLA Noor Mohammad Sheikh Quits Apni Party, Reportedly Joining PDP
SRINAGAR — In the latest political development, Noor Mohammad Sheikh, a former Member of the Legislative Assembly from Batamaloo and the District President Srinagar for the Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party, has resigned from the party. Sources suggest he may join the PDP in the coming days. Many more leaders are expected to join the PDP.
This departure follows the resignation of Usman Majid, a senior vice president and founding member of the Apni Party, further shaking the party’s stability.
As reported earlier, the trend of politicians switching allegiances continues, with speculation that more leaders may soon follow suit.
