Former ISI Chief Taken into Military Custody
Srinagar, Aug 12: Former Director General of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), Lt Gen (Retd) Faiz Hameed, has been taken into military custody as part of disciplinary proceedings related to the Top City housing scheme scandal.
Reports said that Pakistan Army has initiated a Field General Court Martial following a thorough court of inquiry that was conducted to investigate the complaints lodged against him.
The inquiry revealed multiple violations of the Pakistan Army Act, both during Lt Gen Hameed’s service and after his retirement.
Reports indicate that the allegations against Lt Gen (Retd) Faiz Hameed involve the misuse of his position to facilitate irregularities within the Top City housing scheme.
