Forces recovered cache of arms and ammunition in Uri

Baramulla: Government forces on Thursday recovered a cache of arms and ammunition along LoC (Line of Control) in Dulanja area in Uri town of Baramulla district in North Kashmir.

An army official said, “We had received inputs from the J&K Police regarding the presence of a cache of small arms in general area Dulanja following which a search operation was launched in the area.”

“During search operation 2 Rifles (Pak Origin), 2 Pistols (Pak Origin), 4 Magazines (M16 Rifle) and 4 Magazines (Pistols) were recovered”, he added.
