Forces Ransack Hurriyat Activists Residence In Anantnag Village, Family Protest
Anantnag: The family members of Hurriyat activist from Uranhall village of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday staged a protest against forces atrocities.
Hurriyat activists Subzar Ahmad Dar’s house was ransacked by Government Forces during the intervening night of Thursday-Friday at Uranhall village in Anantnag district.
Subzar is an Activists of Geelani (G) Conference led by Senior Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani. Earlier In 2015 he was booked under PSA (Public Safety Act) for seven months.
According to family members government forces on Thursday night ransacked the property of their house and arrested their younger son as well.
The family members of Hurriyat activist said, “On Thursday night at around 11:30 pm Government Forces entered in our house and ransacked property” adding “they also beat all family members without any reason.”
The Government Forces also arrested Aashiq Hussain Dar, younger brother of Hurriyat activist Subzar Ahmad Dar. Aashiq lives separately with his family.
“Subzar Dar, is associated with Huriyat (G) from long time and has no affiliation with any terror group then why forces arrested his younger brother for no reason”, Subzar’s father said.
“We appeal to the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Mr Satya Pal Malik to intervene in this matter and released our innocent son as soon as possible”, Subzar’s father said.
