Forces Launch Search Operation In Pulwama Villages, Clashes Erupt

Pulwama: Clashes erupted between government forces and youths at Laribal and Naman villiages of Kakapora area in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

As soon as search operation was launched in these twin villages of Pulwama district, youths took to streets and started pelting stones on government forces.

Government forces retaliated by firing teargas shells to disperse the mob.

Earlier, following the inputs about presence of militants in these areas, joint team of government forces launched cordon and search operation.

Search operation was going on in these villages when this report was filed.
