Forces Launch CASO In South Kashmir’s Shopian
Shopian: Government forces on Wednesday launched a cordon-and-search operation (CASO) in Heff area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
A police official said a joint team of army, Central Reserve Police Force and SOG men ring-fenced Heff village of the district and began a door to door search operation.
The operation, according to the official, was launched after the forces received inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
The operation was underway when this report was being filed.
