First Destruction then devastation and finally the decimation of a family!
Just one more thing to be sure: After Afsana’s cold murder the family loses the head as the father working in Kuwait dies of heart attack!

Provide a murderer, a motive and a means, and you have solved the crime.’ Probably Afsana’s murder has been solved by Mendhar Police but since the motive was very, very evil the cops do not want to overplay it! Perhaps that is a better option for now but I think they should go in for what we call as expose’!
‘This was another big tragedy and probably the cause was that the -father could not bear the loss of the small daughter whose case is yet to be solved and it has been more than half a century of days since Afsana was found hanging in the verandah of her house. Police are still working on the case and master investigator Z A Jaffri and his top henchman, SHO Gursai are on the job though by now it should have been solved’. This is yet another whodunit story from Mendhar tha has yet to be brought to a conclusion though it would be in due course of time as ZA’s record in solving cases so far has been impeccable!’

Otherwise the bizarre circumstances in which the little kid died would have created an explosive environment in a peaceful place like Mendhar!’ For sure someone is trying to underplay the sequence of the final act of the story? Anyway, the cops know it better!’

Mind you she was found hanging on that fateful day and presumably the small girl could not have hung herself all alone but definitely she did know h!who was hanging her! Someone was!’

Anyway I do not have to be self expressive but I’m certain that I read this when I was in class seven, St. Edmunds Shillong, ‘the truth must be quite plain, if one could just clear away the litter.’ I never knew why my Dad gave me that book because I never understood a word of this sentence! But later in life I learnt I did because I Had gone a bit older. A girl child is a wonder kid and she does get hurt and she is in no position to tell the same!’ That is what happened with Afsana! Please do not go to trifles just get the man who was the cause of death of the kid!’ She was being hurt!By whom!
Some say the Universe arcs towards justice, I think more often it requires the occasional push. I thought that why not give it today when everything that was happening had gone silent. But the death of the father of Afsana gave me an indication. I think the Police should dig deeper. 57 days is a long time! Afsana was wronged but who was the wrong prick! I almost prefer the more rambling and indirect and journalistic investigation, which seems somehow less… deterministic. But in this case there is someone who knows everything but is not being brought to the forefront!
In no way I can paly around with words as far as a murder of the kid goes! DNA tust was a must to begin with? Did that happen? It can still be done! Though the time has elapsed but still it can be! The post mortem report needs to be confirmed? By whom the question would be answered? The last but not the least? Did the dead father know what happened? How did he know as to why it happened and because of whom? The latter looks to be a bigger possibility? By now this murder should have been solvedI think! Anyway another sad thing has happened in the family! The answer is with those who survive! The beginning yet again has to be from the post mortem report and the DNA test! I do not have to spell out what! The investigating officer knows it better! The killer is still scot free and thIs the Afsana story does not end! Just the conclusion! Let Mendhar Police come out with it!
