FIR lodged gainst Army driver after minor’s death in Kupwara
Srinagar, Jun 27: Police on Saturday lodged First Information Report against an Army driver in connection with the death of a minor in Shadipora Kigam village in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Identifying the driver as Naik Bagh Singh from 47 RR, Kigam Camp (B-Coy), an official told GNS that FIR (151/2020) u/s 304A and 279 MVA was filed against him in connection with the incident involving the accidental death of a 12-year-old boy Farhan Ahmad Sher Gojri in Shadipora Kigam village on Friday last.
The boy as per the reports came under an Army vehicle. He sustained critical conditions and was evacuated to a nearby hospital. However doctors declared him brought dead. (GNS)
