FIR filed against Tral resident for attacking Coronavirus sanitization party

Pulwama, March 24: District authorities today lodged an FIR against a resident for “willfully” attacking on Covid-19 sanitization party at Mundura Tral in Pulwama district of south Kashmir.

“As reported by BDO Tral some persons were found assembling unlawfully at a public place in Mundura village of Tral. When sanitization team advised them to abide by the directions imposed under Sec 144 IPC in light of looming COVID-19 Pandamic,” an official said.

One person while defying the instructions and got manhandled with the team, he said. “While taking the cognizance of matter an FIR has been lodged against the said person”.

Pertinently, administration has imposed restrictions across the district and appealed public as well as shopkeepers to obey the order and to co-operate with authorities in order to tackle Coronavirus.
