Father-daughter duo announced resignation from Congress Party in Kulgam
Kulgam: The father-daughter duo has announced resignation or disassociation from a political party in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Thursday.
According to reports, the duo announced their resignation from Congress party by posting a letter and said “we don’t have any affiliation with any political party now.”
“I Mohammad Yousuf Lone son of Abdul Aziz Lone and my daughter Dazy Jan of Manigam Kulgam are announcing to quit the Congress party and we don’t have any concern now with any political party,” reads the letter.
It is to mention that several leaders and activists from different political parties have resigned from their parties following a series of militant attacks in recent past.
