Farah Iqrar Opens Up About Iqrar-ul-Hassana’s Polygamous Marriage and Family Dynamics

 

Farah Iqrar, the wife of renowned Pakistani journalist Iqrar-ul-Hassan, recently shared insights into her husband’s polygamous marriage and their family life. She revealed that Iqrar is currently on an overseas trip with both his wives and their son, and she expressed no issues with the arrangement.

 

 

 

Reflecting on their family dynamics, Farah acknowledged that while Iqrar’s first wife may have been upset when she married him, she herself has no objection to his third marriage. She highlighted that polygamy is a matter of personal choice and understanding among spouses.

 

 

 

 

 

Farah dismissed the perception that only wealthy men can afford multiple marriages, stating that it is driven by men’s desires rather than financial capability. She pointed out that even men with one wife often engage in extramarital affairs, sometimes with their wives’ knowledge.

 

 

 

 

“Some wives even suggest a girlfriend for their husbands but strongly oppose the idea of a second marriage,” Farah remarked, challenging societal norms around marriage and fidelity.
