Falcon Group of Social Workers conduct Drug de-addiction programme in Kulgam

Kulgam: Falcon Group of Social Workers successfully conducted drug de-addiction programme in two adjacent villages Agroo and Zehipora in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Monday.

Falcon Group of Social Workers is a dynamic group of social volunteers .

The group works for almost all the aspects of society, such as education, environmental awareness, women empowerment and art and culture.

Drug related plants, especially cannabis were destroyed and burnt by the youth of the group, to stop it’s use and proliferation.

Door to door campaign was also conducted to make people aware of the rampant drug use among teenagers.

People were also made aware of repercussions of drug use and its implications on the society.

Welcoming the move social activist Dr. Rizwan Rumi appricateted the efforts of the group and assured of every possible help to eradicated this menace of drug addiction from valley. (City FM JK)
