Fake sonologist mislead people, assault journalist of ANN News for exposing her

The accused is a B.E.M.S and pose as sonologist. Police registers FIR

Kupwara: Fake sonologist mislead people and assault journalist Umar Rashid of ANN news after the scribe questioned the pseudo sonologist degree as she is a B.E.M.S. (Bachelor of Electropathy Medicine and Surgery) degree holder practicing in North Kashmir Nursing Home and Hospital Hundwara bypass.

While narrating the incident, correspondent ANN Umer Rashid said that following the reports about the fake sonologist, “I along with my video journalist visited the nursing home and submitted fee for USG. The lady, who poses as doctor and sonologist after conducting USG, reported that I have fatty liver grade III.”

“When I asked the lady, to write her degree and name as Dr. Mudasira, she assaulted me. She repeatedly punched face and stabbed my neck with a pen,” said Umer Rashid.

He added that the lady doctor snatched my phone and deleted all recorded videos in my phone to destroy the evidence as she is not eligible or authorized to do USG.

‘I escaped from the nursing home with help of some patients,” he added.

He, later, along with his video journalist reported the incident to police and registered an FIR No 69 in Police Station Hundwara.

Meanwhile, journalist fraternity in north Kashmir has condemned the assault on the journalist and demanded immediate action against the fake sonologist who has being misleading people and playing with lives of poor patients.
