Exchange Lifters steal Alto car leaves behind another stolen Alto car

Pulwama, Oct 9: In a strange incident, a car lifter stole a vehicle but left his own vehicle behind. Police said the vehicle left behind by the car lifter seems to be stolen one.

Police sources told news agency KNT that during the intervening night of Thursday and Friday, a car lifter stole an Alto car (DL2CQ/4893) in Drangbal area of Pampore.

The owner of the stolen vehicle Shabir Ahmed Rather, a resident of Ratnipora Pulwama informed police the car lifters left behind another Alto car (JK)4A/2991), that also seems to be a stolen one.

Police seized the car and started investigation after registered a formal case with regard to the incident. (KNT)
