Ensuring Seamless Lok Sabha Election 2024, DEO Pulwama takes a joint briefing session of Zonal/ Sector Magistrates and Zonal/ sector Police officers

Pulwama, May 10: As the General Lok Sabha Election 2024 approaches, Pulwama District is diligently preparing to facilitate a smooth and transparent electoral process. District Election Officer Pulwama Dr. Basharat Qayoom (IAS) conducted a comprehensive joint briefing session along with Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Pulwama, emphasizing the collaborative efforts needed for a successful election.

During the briefing, various aspects of the election process were discussed in detail. Pre-polling procedures, polling day arrangements, dispatch of polling parties and election materials, collection processes, and mock polling exercises were meticulously reviewed to ensure thorough preparedness for all potential scenarios.
