Encounter Starts In Forest Area Of Doda

Jammu, July 09(GNS) An encounter has started between militants and security forces in Goli-Gadi forests in upper reaches of Doda district on Tuesday.

An official told GNS that a during cordon and search which was launched by joint team police and army a contact was established with the hiding militants resulting in a gunfight.

Till this report was being filed, intermittent firing from both sides was going on.
