Encounter In Sopore Village, Internet Services Snapped

Sopore: An encounter broke out between government forces and militants at Brath Kalan village of North Kashmir’s Sopore town on Wednesday evening.

As per reports two to three militants are believed to be trapped in this encounter.

Earlier, joint team of army’s 22RR, SOG and CRPF launched Cordon-and-Search-Operation (CASO) in Brath Kalan area of Sopore town following the specific inputs about presence of militants in the area.

Meanwhile authorities have snapped down internet services in Sopore town as a precautionary measure.

Firing was going on from both sides when reports last came in.
