Encounter Broke Out In Pulwama Village

Pulwama: An encounter broke out between government forces and militants at Kharpora, Sirnoo village in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday morning.

As per sources 2-3 militants are believed to be trapped in this encounter.

Earlier, joint team of army’s 55RR, SOG and 182/183 BN CRPF had launched CASO (Cordon-and-Search-Operation) in Sirnoo area following the specific inputs about presence of militants in the area.

Meanwhile heavy exchange of fire was going on from both sides when reports last came in.

Clashes also erupted between government forces and youths near encounter site in Kharpora, Sirnoo villaage.
