Encounter Broke Out In Chakoora, Pulwama
Pulwama: Encounter broke out between government forces and militants at Chakoora village in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday.
As per reports 2-3 militants are believed to be trapped in in this encounter.
Earlier, joint team of government forces including 55RR, CRPF and J&K Police had launched cordon-and-search-operation in the village following the inputs about presence of militants in the area.
Meanwhile, massive clashes erupted between government forces and youths near encounter site in Chakoora village. Forces used teargas shells to disperse protesters.
Further, internet services will be snapped in Pulwama district as a precautionary measure.
