Encounter breaks out in Sighanpora Kulgam
Kulgam: An encounter breaks out between government forces and militants at Sighanpora village in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday.
Sources said 2-3 militants are believed to be trapped in this encounter.
Earlier, government forces including J&K Police, Army’s 34 RR and CRPF had launched Cordon and Search Operation in the village following the inputs about pretence of militants in the area.
The encounter was underway when this report was filed.
