Encounter Breaks Out In Shopian Village, Internet Services Snapped

Shopian: An encounter broke out between government forces and militants at Sangran area of Imamsahib village in South Kashmir’s Shopian district.

As per reports 2-3 militants are believed to be trapped in this encounter.

Earlier joint team of army’s 34RR, CRPF and SOG had launched CASO (Cordon-and-Search-Operation) at Sangran area following the inputs about presence of militants in the area.

Meanwhile authorities have snapped down internet services in Shopian district as a precautionary measure. (City FM JK)
