Encounter breaks out in Pulwama village, internet shut

Pulwama: An encounter broke out between government forces and militants at Lassipora village in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday morning.

As per reports 2-3 militants are believed to be trapped in this encounter.

Earlier, government forces including 55RR, SOG and CRPF had launched search operation in the village following the inputs about presence of militants in the area.

Meanwhile, mobile internet services have been shut in Pulwama district as a precautionary measure.
