Encounter Breaks Out In Anantnag Village; Internet Services Snapped

Anantnag: An encounter breaks out between government forces and militants at Sekipora area of Bijbehara town in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

As per reports 2-3 militants are believed to be trapped in this encounter.

Earlier, joint team of Army’s 3 RR and SOG Anantnag had launched a CASO (Cordon-and-Search-Operation) in Sekipora following the inputs about presence of militants in the area.

Reports said firing was going on from both sides.

Meanwhile, authorities have snapped down internet services in Anantnag district as a precautionary measure.
