Elderly man dies in road accident in Handwara

Handwara, March 23: An elderly man was died after hit by a private vehicle in Prangroo village of Mawer Handwara on Monday afternoon.

Reports reaching to Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that a speedy I10 hit an elderly man and left him critically injured after which he was rushed to District Hospital Handwara for immediate treatment where he later on succumbed.

The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Abdullah Bhat (65) son of Abdul Aziz Bhat resident of Prangroo Mawer.

SHO Qalamabad while confirming to KNS said FIR in this regard has been registered and further investigation taken up.
