Eight injured in Tral grenade attack

Tral: Eight persons were injured in a grenade attack in Tral town of Pulwama district in South Kashmir on Saturday.

According to reports, suspected militants hurled grenade on SSB party at Bus Stand Tral, however it missed the target and exploded on road, resulting in injuries to eight persons.

All the injured persons were shifted to nearby hospital for treatment and their condition is said to be stable.

All the injured persons have been identified as Javid Ahmad Ganai (35) son of Ab Rashid Ganai resident of Tral, Wali Mohd Rather (45) son of Gulla Rather resident of Paneer, Abdullah (70) son of Sadiq Gojjir resident of Hakim, Tabish (25) daughter of Bashir Ahmad resident of Pastuna, Shazada (26) daughter of Gh Qadir Bhat resident of Pastuna, Taja (65) wife of Gh Rasool Sheikh resident of Amirabad, Shahina (24) wife of Nazir Dar resident of Poatuna and Bilal Naik (30) son of M Akram resident of Tralipayeen.
