Eagle hits train between Bijbehara–Anantnag Section in South Kashmir, loco pilot injured
SRINAGAR (KIMS) — A loco pilot sustained minor injuries after an eagle hit a moving train between the Bijbehara and Anantnag section in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday morning, officials said.
The incident occurred around 9:37 am when the train was en route from Baramulla to Banihal.
Officials said the bird (eagle) hit the front mirror of the train, causing damage to the windshield and injuring Loco Pilot Vishal, who was provided first aid at Anantnag Railway Station.
The train was temporarily halted at Anantnag Railway Station following the incident. — (KIMS)
