E- services ended 80% of corruption in J&K: CS Dr. Arun Kumar Mehta

 

“All services are now available online in digital mode.”
Srinagar, August 12 : Chief Secretary Dr. Arun Kumar Mehta announced on Saturday that 80 percent of corruption has been eliminated with the transition of government services to digital mode.
 
Talking to  (KNS), Chief Secretary Dr. Arun Kumar Mehta mentioned that 80 percent of corruption has been curbed through the shift to digital government services and currently, all services in J&K are accessible through digital platforms.
 
“There is no room for corruption in digital methods like BEAMS, DTB & the online payment system, which has significantly reduced the possibility of corrupt practices. Digital channels have greatly minimized the potential for corruption, highlighting the government’s unwavering commitment to corruption-free governance.
 
He also emphasized that there is not a single service now available in non-digital mode. “All our services are in digital mode to ensure efficiency and transparency in government service.”
 
Regarding the extensive Tiringa rallies taking place across Jammu Kashmir, Dr. Mehta stated that they are a result of unparalleled development occurring in the region, and people are embracing it.
 
“I encourage people to celebrate Independence Day with zeal and enthusiasm, showcasing the true transformation of Jammu Kashmir,” he added. (KNS)
