Drug peddler arrested in Sopore, 126 grams Charas recovered, vehicle seized Police

Sopore, Mar 27: In its continues efforts to eradicate the menace of drug peddling from Police District Sopore, Sopore Police arrested a notorious drug peddler during naka checking at Batsuma Rafiabad.

During naka checking at Batsuma Rafiabad, a Police party from Police Station Dangiwacha led by SHO police station Dangiwacha SI Mudasir Nazar while checking a vehicle Alto 800 bearing Registration number JKO5G 5551 recovered 126 grams of Charas from the car & apprehended driver of the car namely Naseer Ahmad Lone S/O Mohammad Maqbool Lone R/O Warepora Rafiabad accused was arrested & the contraband as well as vehicle seized.

In this connection Case FIR No. 42/2019 U/S 8/20 NDPS has been registered in Police Station Dangiwacha & investigation taken up. People of the area have hailed the Sopore Police’s action.
