Drug peddler arrested in Budgam, 10kgs of poppy straw recovered
Budgam, July 27: Continuing its efforts to eradicate the drug menace from the society, Budgam police arrested a drug peddler for supplying drugs from Beerwah area and seized huge quantity of contraband substances from his possession.
Police Party from P/S Breewah, acting on a specific information arrested 01 drug peddler identified as Farooq Ahmed Lone, S/o Abdul Kareem Lone R/o Hanjilawaypora Breewah.
During search 10 kgs of poppy straw has been recovered from his possession.
Accordingly, a case FIR No.190/20 under relevant sections of law has been registered in PS Breewah and investigation set into motion.
