Drug peddler apprehended in Pulwama; Contraband substance recovered

Pulwama, Mar 2: Police on Monday apprehended a drug peddler in Pulwama district and recovered contraband substance from his pocession.

Police said, a police party of the Police Station Kakapora, while conducting routine naka checking at Naman Crossing apprehended one person identified as Imtiyaz Dar S/o Ali Mohd Dar R/o Kakapora. During search of his bag, approximately 1.6 kilograms of Bang Boosa was recovered.

Accordingly, FIR No. 15/2026 under Section 8/20 of the NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Kakapora and investigation was taken up.
