DLSCC meeting held at Shopian

Shopian: A meeting of District level Screening Cum Co-ordination Committee (DLSCC) was held under the Chairmanship of District Magistrate (DM) Shopian, Choudhary Mohammad Yasin.

The meeting cleared 20 cases out of a total of 23 cases taken up for resolution. 4 cases were cleared for ex-gratia relief and Rs. 1 lakh each was sanctioned among the beneficiary, whereas 13 cases were cleared for the benefits under SRO-43/94, Ex-gratia relief as admissible and 01 injured case was also approved by the committee.

Moreover, 02 cases pertaining to property damage were also cleared and Rs 6.88 lakh were sanctioned among the affected.

While deciding the appointments, the eligibility including qualification of the applicants was also taken into account besides the reports from Police, CID and Army were thoroughly discussed and the necessary guidelines as per SRO-43 were also kept in view.

Among others, the meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, SDM Zainapora and various officers from Police, Army and CID.
