District level checking squad conducts market inspection in Doda

DODA, APRIL 23: To ensure safe, pure, quality & wholesome essential commodities to the Consumers & public especially during the Holy days of Ramzan & forthcoming Festival season, a joint team of enforcement departments conducted market checking in Doda township.

On the direction of Dr. Ravi Kumar Bharti Additional Deputy Commissioner (Adjudicating Officer FSSA Doda), the Enforcement Officers of Police, CA&PD, MC, Food Safety, DFCO, legal metrology & allied Deptts carried out extensive inspection to check the quality of Food articles, Hygiene & sanitation in the Business establishments, and enforcement of government rates of commodities.

 The business operators were directed to display  licenses & rate lists at the prominent places of their shops.

During the surprise inspections, 49 erring Business Operators were warned against further violations of the instructions and prescribed norms. They were warned of strict action in case of violations in the future.

Food Safety officer Bhaderwah lifted 2 samples of eatables (Bakery & paneer) for quality check.
