Despite Rain, Shangus Militant Laid To Rest, Thousands Participated In His Funeral
Anantnag: Thousands of people today participated in funeral of slain militant Nisar Ahmad Bhat at Krad, Shangus village in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Nisar along with his five associates were killed in an encounter between government forces & militants near LoC in Machil Sector in Kupwara district on June 6, 2018.
His body was exhumed and handed over to his family on Thursday after a gap of one month after DNA confirmed that the slain militant’s body belonged to Krad, Shangus family.
Earlier, his body was burried near LoC in Machil Sector in Kupwara district as unidentified militant.
Despite heavy rains, thousands of people from various areas visited slain militants native village Krad, Shangus in Anantnag district to participate in his funeral.
People raised many slogans during his funeral. Later, he was burried in ancestral graveyard at his villag Krad, Shangus in Anantnag district.
