Defence Minister Rajnath Singh tests positive for Covid-19

New Delhi: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh tweeted that he has tested positive for Covid-19 and has isolated himself at home.

“I have tested positive for Corona today with mild symptoms. I am under home quarantine. I request everyone who have recently come in my contact to isolate themselves and get tested,” Singh tweeted.

Several ministers and politicians, including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, have tested positive during the ongoing Covid outbreak in India, which has been triggered by the fast-spreading Omicron variant.
