DC Srinagar Ajaz Asad in a letter to Financial Commissioner Health and Medical Education Department, a copy of which lies with News Agency Kashmir Dot Com reads that “This is to bring to your kind notice that a statement attributes to Dr Nissar-ul-hassan (So called self styled president DAK) has been published by various news papers and News portals across the union territory of J&K on 02-06-2021, regarding COVID-19 vaccination, which reads as under; ‘If you are allergic to any component of the vaccine, your are advised not to take it. However, if you have history of allergic reactions that aren’t related to COVID-19 vaccine such as food, medicine, latex, insects and environmental triggers, you can have the vaccine’, ”.

Further the fact sheet of vaccine from Bharat Biotech (COVAXIN) reveals that its ingredients are: Aluminum Hydroxide gel, Imidazoquinoline, 2 Phenexyetonal and phosphate Buffer saline. These ingredients are often used in many other vaccines which are given in routine immunization of children and adults.”
