DC Reasi chairs Block Diwas meeting at Arnas
REASI MAY 04: Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Babila Rakwal today visited Block Arnas and conducted a public grievances redressal Camp at Community Facility Centre Arnas to assess the response of the public towards various developmental initiatives being implemented by the administration in the Area and listen to their demands.
The DC gave a patient hearing to the issues and grievances raised by the PRIs and public and simultaneously issued directions to the concerned quarters for early disposal of the same.
The camp was attended by DDC Raj Kumari; BDC chairperson Neena Devi; ADDC Jyoti Salathia; ACR Anirudh Rai; CHO Brij Vallabh; CAO Sudhir Singh; ACP Umesh: CAHO Abdul Majid; DSHO P.P.Sagotra; besides other district officers along with PRIs BDOs, Sarpanchs and Panchs.
At the outset, the PRIs and Public put forth their demands seeking provisioning of adequate staff in schools, compensation for acquired land, maintenance of Playground, provision of Dental Chair in the local Hospital, repair of X-Ray machine, fixation of mining rates, construction of BMO office, sub-centre at Kanthan, up-gradation of Girls Middle School to High School, Maintenance of HSS and building for Middle School Jharall.
After listening to Public Grievances, the DDC addressed the issues one by one by seeking the response of the officers of the concerned departments.
Several issues pertaining to provision of Water, Power, Road, Transport, Ration, Nutrition, Education and Health were resolved on the spot after face to face deliberation with District Officers, while a timeline was set for resolving several other issues for the concerned departments.
Babila Rakwal directed the concerned authorities to complete the ongoing developmental projects in a stipulated time frame. She further motivated the public to avail the benefits of flagship government schemes including those offering assistance for setting up income generating Units.
