DC Kulgam visits EKLAVYA Residential School at Tangmarg
KULGAM, MAY 15: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today visited EKLAVYA Model Residential School at Tangmarg and took stock of available facilities there.
On the occasion, the DC was briefed by the Chief Education Officer Kulgam, M Ashraf Rather about arrangements that have been put in place to start first academic session in the residential school smoothly.
He informed that 60 students, 30 boys and 30 girls have been enrolled in the school for this academic session.
He also informed that teaching and supporting staff has been deployed and all other requisite arrangements have been put in place at the institution to start the first session in the school within days.
Moreover, the DC instructed Jal Shakti, PDD to ensure smooth power and water supply to the school.
