DC B’la distributes essential commodities among destitute families

BARAMULLA, APRIL 01:  As part of the initiative launched by the district administration to avert any difficulty that may arise due to shortage of essential commodities in view of lockdown in the district the Deputy Commissioner(DC) Baramulla, Dr. G N Itoo, today distributed rice, flour and other essentials among various destitute families of Old Town Baramulla. He also distributed face masks among these families as a move to mitigate the risk of infection outbreak.

On the occasion, DC said that the move was taken to avoid any kind of inconvenience that may emerge due to the shortage of essential commodities in present circumstances. He said that every effort is being taken to streamline the distribution of essential commodities at the peoples’ doorsteps for which necessary mechanism has been formulated.
