DC Anantnag set an example, sent his son in quarantine
Srinagar: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag Bashir Ahmad Dar on Sunday set an example for the entire administration who sent his son in quarantine centre after returning from Bangladesh.
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Dar who served the administration in various capacities has shifted his son into quarantine centre located in Pahalgam along with other fifty students who too had returned back to their homes from different countries.
Sources told that Dar’s son who is pursuing MBBS in Bangladesh has been sent to Pahalgam’s quarantine centre after medical teams deputed at Airport for screening passengers, found him suspect and shifted in isolation centre so that threat could be defeated.
Dar, who believes in rule of law and right to equality, has virtually set an example for beaurucracy at a time when influential persons are creating hurdles in administrations work while screening COVID-19 suspects.
