Cyber Police Kashmir Issues Stern Warning Against Spreading False Information
Srinagar, June 8: The Cyber Police of Kashmir has issued a strong warning against individuals and media outlets circulating false and unverified reports on social media platforms. The authorities have expressed concern over attempts to incite unrest and disrupt public peace and order through malicious misinformation.
In an official statement, the Cyber Police emphasized that legal action will be taken against individuals or organizations found guilty of spreading false information with malicious intent, as per relevant sections of the law.
The authorities have urged citizens, media platforms, and social media users to avoid falling prey to false propaganda and to verify facts before sharing any sensitive content that could disturb public harmony.
