CRPF trooper allegedly shoots self dead in south Kashmir’s Pulwama
Srinagar, Nov 8: A CRPF trooper on Monday allegedly shot himself dead with his service rifle at a camp in Lethpora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, official sources said.
Quoting the sources, news agency GNS reported that the constable of the paramilitary force identified as Bupinder Singh of Bharatpur Rajasthan ended his life by shooting himself with his service rifle At 185 bataliion Camp Lethpora. He died on the spot, sources said.
A police official told GNS that the proceedings have been launched into the incident. It was not immediately known what made the constable take the extreme step.
