CRPF helps ailing aged man in Rajouri
Rajouri: Under its efforts to help civil population, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) extended helping hand to an aged man in Rajouri.
Central Reserve Police Force informed that on 19th March, the CRPFs Madadgar helpline received a call for help from Mohammad Shakoor, a 60 years old resident of village Thandikassi.
“The elderly caller had an infected orthopaedic implant but being a resident of a remote mountainous village without access to specialist doctors and unable to pay for the treatment, he was suffering in silent agony since the last two months.” statements reads.
On the basis of distress call, Commandant 72nd Battalion Shree Ram Meena took swift action and on his direction, senior medical officer Dr. Vivekanand with his team, reached the caller’s location, statement reads.
“Finally, Mohammad Shakoor was taken to GMC Rajouri and provided treatment with all expenses being taken care by CRPF 72 Battalion.” CRPF further informed. (KNT)
