COVID awareness rally held at Trehgam, DIC Kupwara coordinates
KUPWARA, AUGUST 11: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din, an awareness rally regarding COVID-19, was taken off from UPS Bonpora, Trehgam today.
The rally was coordinated by District Information Centre Kupwara, and was attended by school children from UPS Bunpora, GHSS Trehgam besides Angan Wadi Workers of ICDS and ASHAs of health department.
The rally went through various markets of Trehgam and culminated at SDH Trehgam. The students were seen holding placards and banners in their hands displaying a message that people in general should not show any negligence with regard to compliance of Covid Appropriate Behaviour.
The message was that people should not lower the guard against COVID-19 pandemic, and should follow COVID-19 SOPs in letter and spirit.
The rally was flagged off by Tehsildar Trehgam, Nazir Ahmad Shah in presence of CDPO and BMO Trehgam while the programme was coordinated by the Nodal Officer G M Dar. The rally was conducted as part of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav.
The rally was escorted by Police and school teachers up to SDH Trehgam.
