Coronavirus: Aab-e-Rawan Organized Awareness Program at Srinagar
Srinagar: Non Governmental Organization Aab-e-Rawan hold an awareness program at Srinagar as a part of humanitarian gesture distributed free sanitizers, masks and gloves among the street vendors and food stalls in the surrounding area of SMHS Hospital in Srinagar city as a precautionary measure against coronavirus, which has been declared pandemic by World Health Organization.
The team laid stress about hygiene and how prevention is better than cure. This initiative may also convey a message of cleanliness to the society which is of paramount need. As our religion also preaches us that cleanliness is our half faith.
Further, a message was highlighted that panic will only exaggerate the issue. There is no need to panic when one is taking the precautionary measure.
Muneeb Masoodi, President of Aab-e-Rawan NGO said, “Our organization always sympathizes with the people during any affliction and he requested the SMC Mayor to pay heed towards the street vendors to help them to maintain the cleanliness in their surroundings.”
