Cop Injured In Stone Pelting In Pulwama Village

Pulwama: A police Constable was critically injured after some youth peted stones on a Police Vehicle near Bona Muran in Pulwama district today morning.

According to reports  that a Police Party headed by Dy SP (Headquarters) Pulwama  along with SHO Pulwama was heading towards Muran after receiving inputs that a Vehicle with Fukki is in the village.

As soon as the Police Vehicle reached Bona Muran, Some youth pelted stones on it.

A stone hit the driver of the Police Vehicle on head and he got critically injured but being injured he managed to drive the vehicle to a safe place thus saving the lives of other cops including DySP and SHO.

Police Fired few tear smoke shells to disperse the Stone pelters.

The injured Cop identified as Shahanshah has been evacuated to district hospital Pulwama for treatment.
